James Tyler Jewellery is a traditionally trained, custom design jeweller. Having completed his professional indenture in the 1980s, James has gone on to work for himself, developing skills well beyond the offerings of his original master as well as having developed relationships with international suppliers to source unusual gems. With a deep passion for his craft, James has forged a reputation for skilfully and sensitively handling the many and varied materials that are on offer in jewellery today. These materials include platinum, 22ct, 18ct and 9ct gold, paladium, titanium, neoprene, silver and combination materials such as Mokume Gane. James has developed the specific skill of gem setting that enables him to be the only person to touch a piece during the manufacturing process.
