HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHS ON DISPLAYIf you missed seeing the display of historical photographs in the Arcade prior to Christmas, they're now back up again as part of Brisbane Arcade's 85th anniversary celebrations. The photographs include some of early Queen Street and the Mayne family, the original owners of the Arcade site. Among the collection are some of the George E Adams' cake shop (left) - one of the renowned early retailers, ca 1938. The image is from Collection, John Oxley Library, State Library of Queensland.
