BENZ FASHION FESTIVAL
Many Brisbane Arcade designers
will feature in this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival - Brisbane, hosted by the Hilton, 26 to 31 August 2007.
In addition, Brisbane Arcade's leading home grown designers will showcase some of their exciting creations in a special Queen Street Mall parade taking place in the mall itself at 12.30pm, Friday 31st August. This is the only free festival event so don't miss it!
Bora, Irma J Smith, Tengdahl, Keri Craig, Kennedy and Forbes, House of Dower and Pia du Pradal are all busy preparing their garments for the Queen Street Mall parade.

73 YEAR OLD SLEEPWEAR BUSINESS STANDS THE TEST

Tucked away in a small salon at the top of Brisbane Arcade is a designer and manufacturer whose superior product has truly managed to stand the test of time.
Since 1934 Petite Salon has been producing the ultimate in women’s sleepwear – gorgeous classic nighties, brunchcoats, dressing gowns and lingerie, handstitched with emaculate detailing and precision in 100% Swiss cotton.
Salon owner, Dina Knaggs, attributes her success to the enduring qualities of the garments.
“The sleepwear is designed to last in both a fashion and quality sense,” she said.
“The styles are fashion resistant and loved by all ages and each garment is hand stitched and made to last and last.”
